Resilience training built in conflict zones and delivered by practitioners who've operated under fire — for military, defence, and corporate teams who can't afford to break.

What We Do

Military & Defence Training

Threat-awareness, stress inoculation, and decision-making under cognitive load — designed for military personnel and defence contractors by a serving British Army Reservist who trains alongside them.

Corporate Resilience

When the market turns, the crisis breaks, or the leadership team fractures — your people need to hold. We build the psychological robustness and decision-making clarity that keeps organisations functioning under sustained pressure.

Individual Coaching

One-to-one coaching with Peter Apps for individuals in high-pressure environments. Not motivation. Not mindset platitudes. A structured, evidence-based programme that builds the capacity to function when everything is against you.

Why Salt Water Crocodiles

Most resilience training is designed in conference rooms by people who've read about pressure. Ours is built by someone who spent two decades reporting from conflict zones across three continents, wrote two bestselling books on defence, and went back into service as a British Army Reservist.

Peter Apps doesn't teach resilience theory. He delivers what he knows works — because he's had to use it.

Founded on Experience

Peter Apps spent over two decades as a Reuters foreign correspondent, reporting from more than 20 countries — conflict zones, emerging markets, crises. He is a serving British Army Reservist specialising in information warfare, the author of two critically acclaimed books on global defence, and a TEDx London speaker. He turned that experience into a structured training methodology.

Salt Water Crocodiles exists because Peter spent twenty years learning what makes people hold under pressure — and what makes them break.
